Busy Week

Well we have had a busy week tidying and I have struggled as I have been very tired, Dave has done well and he has painted the baby's room yellow although I think its far too bright, he loves it!

We have been to Kirstys today, had a lovely afternoon and bought a lovely baby swing off her sister (well we haven't paid for it yet!)

But the house still isn't ready for the central heating and we are off to cumbria tomorrow to get me out of the house whilst the heating is replaced!

I haven't even packed yet! :o(

Goodbye

Well we have just been to say goodbye to Hayley to Martyn and give a little pressie (Hayley's first ever cuttlebug die, that means she has to get one now!) lol

We really enjoyed their leaving party on Friday night and it was great fun being with the LPD's & Wayne! There were quite a few tears shed when it came to saying goodbye and we are really sad to see them go off to Canada and will miss our curry buddies :(

But we wish them all the best! Good luck xx

Kaiser Chiefs

We had a great time at Ellen Road watching the Kaiser Chiefs, we got to see Kate Nash, The Enemy and a couple of other bands too! But the Kaiser Chiefs were definately the best and I didn't stop dancing (well i had to sit down a couple of times!).

4D Scan

Well we have been and had our 4D scan today and wow we could see baby's face - and NO Dave it doesn't have my nose! Phew!

It was amazing, baby kept hiding behind it's hands and wouldn't wake up for us! It must take after me in that respect lol

Another fantastic and emotional experience :o)

Kicking!

WOW I finally felt baby kicking last night, it was amazing and Dave felt it too!

I was begining to think I would never feel it. What a lovely emotional and happy moment.
It's been kicking most of the day while I have been at work!

I've also been to see the midwife today and heard baby's heartbeat, she measured my bump and said it was on the large side! But still with in normal parameters!! Hmm does that mean this is going to be a big baby?!

Watch out!

We had a really funny moment last night, Dave went to poke my belly and with great ferociousness I went to protect myself and my bump!

Obviously he wouldnt hurt me, but we were both really shocked at my reactions!! it was soo funny! He didn't know whether to be scared or laugh! Nor me!

Scan

Well the scan went well and the blood flow is all fine thankfully!

Our little baby was wriggling about like mad, which was good to see as I haven't felt it yet!

AND we got another scan piccy! :o)

We still don't know the sex, sorry Dave!!

Scan tomorrow

Well we have the scan tomorrow where they are going to measure the blood flow through the baby's brain to see if its anemic.

I'm feeling a bit nervous, hopefully everything will be OK.
