Me Time & LGI

I was awake at 6.30am this morning, and whilst Chloe and Dave slept, I did some scrapping!

I love this photo of Chloe and Jason (Chloe's cousin) and this layout has been mulling around my head for a little while now. (Most of the time I was poorly!)

I hope you like it.

We had an unexpected trip to the LGI (Leeds General Infirmary) this afternoon, Chloe had a high temperature, and she was getting hotter and hotter, so we called the emergency doctors, and they said they wouldn't be able to call us back until tomorrow due to all the swine flu calls!!! I said I can't wait till tomorrow, that's ridiculous for a baby! So we took her to LGI walk in centre instead, they treated us as if we had swine flu and we had to put masks on! It turned out she has an ear infection, so they gave her some ibruprofen and antibiotics and a prescription for ear drops. Her temperature has come down loads now thankfully and she is alot happier!

Scrappers Block Challenge

Lou, one of our Bumps & Babes members posted on UKS this morning about her new blog, http://scrappersblockchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ and the first challenge was to scrap without patterned paper. Some of you will know how long it took me to be able to scrap with patterned paper, and now I can't do without it! So ideas have been mulling around in my head all day, and finally with Chloe in bed asleep, I've managed to produce this, which I'm quite pleased with!

I ran the black bazzil squares through my big shot using a cuttlebug embossing folder, the hearts were given to me in a swap ages ago. The journalling spot is by Making Memories, and the photo of Missy was taken by my husband, Dave.

Sorry the photo's aren't great, it's gone dark outside now and the light in this room is quite bad.

That's another layout for Helen's Challenge, number 15! Weeks 16 & 17 to catch up with now!

LPD Crop & Week 13 & 14!

It was the LPD Crop today and I had a fab time and managed to produce to LO's and start another which is a WIP (work in progress).
This first one is for the SLYMI week 16 challenge, scrap in the morning, which I just managed!

I used the gorgous My Mommy & Me papers, which I then used as my title too!

A special thanks to Kirsty for giving me the brown scalloped paper, the water droplets and the last 's'!
That's weeks 13 & 14 completed of Helen's challenge, just week 15 & 16 to catch up on now!

What MORE scrapping?!

Yes MORE! Another 2 layouts, I'm on a roll! Helen I hope you are proud of me! I still have another 3 to go to catch up though!

I've also done these layouts for the Scrap Like You Mean It SLYMI Challenge on UKS, Week 13 asked for a layout using stamps, so I have created a stamped embellishment and I've been very brave and stamped straight onto the photograph!

This layout is for Week 15 of SLYMI, where we had to use some sort of edge, so I drew round a chipboard book to get the bracket edged paper.

I haven't done Week 14 of SLYMI, it needs something hidden on it, and I've a few ideas but it's taking some thinking about!

Helen's Challenge Weeks 11 & 12 are now complete! Weeks 13, 14 & 15 to catch up with!

Scrapping! Week 10 of Helen's Challenge

Unfortunately I've been really poorly all week with S&D, sorry if TMI but on the plus side I've lost 6lb! Anyway, I digress! I was unable to go to the LPD crop so instead, I managed to get my craft room half habitable so I could do some scrapping! (It still needs alot of sorting out though!)

I caught upto date with my LPD AMOP CJ and I managed a Layout too! I used a sketch from the mojoholder blog. I also got carried away with staple kisses which I copied of Helen, they are great for attaching ribbon! Thanks! :o)

I used a scrapagogo kit which had My Minds Eye papers, and lots of other stuff! So that's week 10 of the challenge, another 4 weeks to go to catch up I think!

Helen's Challenge! Week 8 Layout

I haven't forgotton!

Helen's challenge was to scrap a layout a week, well as you probably noticed, it's fell by the wayside a bit! But I do want to catch up, so lets see how far behind I am!

Hmmm Week 6 was the Cyber Crop and I did two layouts, which I will class as 2 weeks so really I am 6 weeks behind including this week which is week 13!

I haven't been doing nothing all this time, I've done CJ entry's for the LPD's AMOP CJ and I've started my Bumbs & Babes AMOP CJ but I can't show you those obviously! I've also started re-organising my craft room, so that's all upside down, i've got my new shelves in from Ikea, it just all needs sorted out and tidied up! It's all been getting a bit stressfull!

Here's a layout which I completed on Saturday, at the LPD's crop, I still feel it's missing something, but I love the pretty papers, which were donated by my friend Hazel, they go so well with the photo's, thankyou very much Hazel!

It's all about Chloe, saying 'Buh' all the time, it's so cute!

The photo's don't do the papers justice really, they are sparkly and so pretty!

Week 4 Layout

I've done another one! Hope you are impressed Helen! I'm submitting this one for this coming week, as I won't get chance to do any scrapping.

I'm quite pleased! I've actually managed to use some of the hoards of buttons I have!

I've used a journalling spot from my friend Kirsty (thanks doo!) and a making memories noteworthy page, and the paper is SEI Chick-a-dee.

3 Layouts! A good start to Helen's Challenge!

I hope you are impressed, not only have I completed my CJ entry (which I can't show you just in case the owner looks on here) I have done 2 layouts! I bet that's shocked you!

This one is Chloe, snuggled up in her pram while I had a hospital appointment.

I used SEI Chick-a-dee papers, precious stamp from Heidi Swapp, and the heart is from an old go-go kit.

This one is a photo from Shimelles 'Scrap Your Day' challenge, where I had to take a self portrait, which didn't turn out that bad!

I used Daisy Bucket, perfect harmony papers, heidi swapp love stamp, Snag'em chick stamp, making memories noteworthy journalling pad, and other embellishments which I can't remember where they are from, sorry!

I hope you like them both!
