Our first Wedding Anniversary, 28th March 2009. Thank you for all our lovely cards!
We left Chloe with Nana and off we went to London for the night in a 5* Hotel and to see a show - 'Wicked' It was really good, a bit of an alternative take on the Wizard of Oz, the actress (Sarah Earnshaw) that played Glinda was amazing and she was a stand in! I would definately recommend it. We even had a bottle of wine with our meal and a double disarrano for a night cap, I haven't had a proper drink in over a year! And yes it did go to my head! lol
It was hard leaving Chloe, I cried all the way to the train station! We missed her loads but it was nice having a bit of us time, and I still woke at 4am for her morning feed! DOH! Chloe was good for Nana, she apparently had a couple of little wobbles and did her mamamama crying. Other than that she had a whale of a time, playing with her Nana, Grandad and Uncle Richard :o)
Look who we found in Paddington Station! We thought we would bring him home for Chloe to look after :o)
We called in on Paul & Bev on the way home who provided us with a lovely tea, it was great meeting Luke for the first time, he is gorgous! Thankyou Becca for Chloe's balloon and the cute little whale, she loves them!

Harrogate
Mum and Dad came to stay in Harrogate for a couple of days so Mum could go to the craft show tomorrow (which I wasn't happy about as I can't go! How rude of her to go without me!) Anyway, Chloe and I drove over this morning to see them at their hotel, we had a lovely lunch, (thanks Dad!) and clearly it was all too much for Chloe who promptly fell asleep in time for me taking some photo's!

Helen's Challenge! Week 8 Layout
I haven't forgotton!
Helen's challenge was to scrap a layout a week, well as you probably noticed, it's fell by the wayside a bit! But I do want to catch up, so lets see how far behind I am!
Hmmm Week 6 was the Cyber Crop and I did two layouts, which I will class as 2 weeks so really I am 6 weeks behind including this week which is week 13!
I haven't been doing nothing all this time, I've done CJ entry's for the LPD's AMOP CJ and I've started my Bumbs & Babes AMOP CJ but I can't show you those obviously! I've also started re-organising my craft room, so that's all upside down, i've got my new shelves in from Ikea, it just all needs sorted out and tidied up! It's all been getting a bit stressfull!
Here's a layout which I completed on Saturday, at the LPD's crop, I still feel it's missing something, but I love the pretty papers, which were donated by my friend Hazel, they go so well with the photo's, thankyou very much Hazel!
It's all about Chloe, saying 'Buh' all the time, it's so cute!
The photo's don't do the papers justice really, they are sparkly and so pretty!

My First Mothers Day!
Well I didn't get off to a good start, Chloe woke about 4:30am, so I fed her then I couldn't get back to sleep (she did!) I started with a snuffly nose and feeling poorly, so I got up and stuck a photo on a layout, then did some more to my Scrap Your Day book, by this time it was 6:30 and Chloe woke, so I fed her, dressed her and fed myself, all while Daddy was still fast asleep in bed! I'm sure it was me who was supposed to have a lie in!
When Daddy did get up, he helped Chloe give me a beautiful card and a book about Scrapbooking! I was rather emotional and chuffed to bits!
We then went into Leeds, and did some shopping and I got treated to Nando's for lunch, yummy!
Thankyou Chloe and Daddy!
Anyway it was all a bit too much for Chloe too, and we both drifted off!

Weekend in Cumbria & Another Chloe First!
I'm playing catch up again!
We popped upto Cumbria for the weekend, so we could buy a highchair for Chloe with a voucher mum had.
After we got the highchair on Saturday, we met up with Roanne, David and Jason and went for a coffee, then we all had tea at my Mum's house. Chloe had a fab time playing with Jason, and riding round on his back!
Chloe also did another 'first' at Grandma's, she climbed up a wooden trolley and stood up all by herself! (The only help she had was us stopping the trolley from rolling away!)
I'm sure we have a video of this... will post once I've found it!

Fab Friday!
As Dave is off on holiday and we decided to go into Leeds this morning by train, luckily we managed to find a rare parking space! We got our Leeds cards from the town hall which gets us free entry to places and discounted rates, then we went to Nando's for lunch, our favourite eating place!
This afternoon I went to Sarah's and off we went to the park for a walk, the weather was gorgous and all the crocus's were in flower. We popped to Morrisons afterwards for a drink and some cake! Chloe and I really enjoyed it thanks Sarah!
We had fun on the swings, and felt a bit sick by the time we got off! Yep I guess I am too old lol
Our Shadows, Sarah's idea! (She is expecting a layout about this, it may be a while... )
How does the rhyme go again? 1 for sorrow, 2 for joy, 3 for a girl, 4 for a boy, 5 for silver, 6 for gold! (I didn't get any gold! lol)
What a fab friday!

The wanderers return!
It's been a busy week! Firstly, Chloe and I went up to Cumbria whilst Dave was in Exeter on a course with work, we had a fab time, Mum made me my favourite curry and pancakes for pud on Tuesday! Thanks Mum! Chloe says thankyou Grandma for her little denim dress, and I'm sure she will fill it soon!
On Wednesday, Chloe and I went to Auntie Ro's and off we went for a spot of shopping in good old Workington, which is alot better than it used to be! We had coffee and lemon cake in Costas, which was delicious! I got Chloe some gorgous PJ's from Matalan, a really cute Denim dress from Debenhams and a lovely coat from a local shop, which ended up only costing a fiver, thanks to Auntie Ro & Dad! I also got myself a couple of jumpers from New Look! We then surprised Jason by meeting him at school, he pushed Chloe's pram all the way back to their house. Chloe had great fun playing with Auntie Ro, Uncle David and Jason, I can't wait to see the video's we took of them all on their camera. Chloe and I really enjoyed ourselves, thanks for a lovely day!
Can you believe though, Wednesday was the 25th, Scrap Your Day, day!! AND I completely forgot!
The second part of the week, Saturday, off we went to visit Auntie Vicki & Uncle Fred in Wiltshire. We had a lovely time and Dave took some really nice pictures.
On Sunday, we stopped at Birmingham to see Nana & Grandad and Richard. We had a really nice time and we really enjoyed our little visit 'Up Town' with Nana before we set off for home in the afternoon with Richard. Unfortunately I didn't take any photo's!!! Chloe says thankyou Nana for her cute little jeans and t-shirt! And thankyou Uncle Richard for my gorgous teddy bear!
Richard stayed with us and went home Tuesday night, Chloe had a great time playing with her toys and Uncle Richard. (Again no photo's!!! What was I thinking?!)
