Home via Friends!

Well it was Daddy's bright idea to be in Carlisle for 10am this morning! We actually made it to Bev's for 10:30, not bad considering it took some packing to get everything in the car this morning!

We had a lovely day catching up with everyone and it was great surprising Nik & Ali and seeing Sammi & Chris, I can't believe they are now in their 20's!

Boxing Day

We decided to go out for Lunch and as Morrison's cafe was shut we went to a lovely pub and I had to have turkey and cranberry sarnies and chips!

After, the boys dropped me and mum off in town to hit the sales with Auntie Ro, just as we walked round the corner we bumped into Barbara! I ran back to see if Dave had turned the car round and managed to stop him so she could meet Chloe! Then 5 minutes later we bumped into Alison & Alan and their 2 daughters, it was lovely seeing them both, it must be over 8 years since I last saw them! We also bumped into Jean & Keith, then went for coffee & cake in Debenhams! Auntie Ro dropped us off at home and Chloe had enjoyed herself with Grandpa and Daddy!

Christmas Day!

We didn't get a good nights sleep with Chloe unfortunately, and we woke up when my little nephew Jason phoned to tell us 'He's Been!' My mum's catch phrase for Christmas morning (she scared Dave to death with it last Christmas!).

We came down to a living room full of presents! Luckily Santa realised we weren't in Leeds for Christmas and had delivered them all to Cumbria!

We went out to the local pub/restaurant for christmas dinner with Grandma & Grandpa, Uncle David and Auntie Ro and cousin Jason, Chloe slept through the whole thing, even with people blowing their streamers.

Christmas Eve

Well what a manic day!

I had to get packed, sort Chloe, finish wrapping presents, and pick up my contact lenses from Costco and pop in to meet our neighbours daughter!

This was all going fairly well until Dave finished work a bit earlier than expected and I wasn't ready! It was a nightmare packing the car, we need one twice the size! Unfortunately we had to leave Chloe's main Christmas present the rocking reindeer at home :o(

We didn't do bad though and managed to set off at 3:30pm to Cumbria! It was great seeing my parents, they were chuffed to bits to see Chloe and we had a lovely tea ready for us!

Shopping Trip to Leeds

Wow I actually managed to get into Leeds on the train today! I dropped Dave off in the morning to catch the train and noticed the carpark was empty so I rushed home and got ready, then back to the station and luckily there were still spaces.

My first stop was to buy Dave's christmas pressy, then New Look for some new clothes. I then went to meet Dave for lunch. I called in at work to see Julie on reception so she could see Chloe, who was soo cute, she kept giggling for her and my heart felt like it was going to burst! I think Julie fell in love with her!

We managed to get a bit more christmas shopping done and got the 3pm train home before the rush hour started, when I would have never managed to get the pram on the train because they are so busy.

What a fab day! I wish we could do this more!

We actually got round to putting the tree up today! We had to have something to display the lovely baubles Auntie Roanne sent us!

We had a lovely day today, Dave and I managed to curl up together on the sofa and watch a film whilst Chloe had a nap in her swing!

Works Christmas Party!

I've been let out again on my own!

Our lovely neighbours, John and Joan offered to babysit Chloe whilst Dave and I go to our works Christmas Do!

So off we went bowling which was fun, and you would think I had been drinking because I was as high as a kite, it was really good seeing everyone and I really enjoyed it.


We got home around 7pm ish and Chloe had behaved herself for John and Joan, I think they enjoyed having her!

At the Leeds Paper Doll Christmas Crop I managed to get upto date with my 'Scrap your day' project and I caught up a bit with 'Journal your Christmas', here are my pages..

Chloe and I have been watching 'Santa Who?' it's put me right in the christmas mood :o)

LPD Christmas 12 hour crop!

Well it was touch and go as to whether Chloe would be staying at home today or coming with me, as Daddy has been quite poorly this week and we weren't sure if he would be well enough to look after her.

Luckily he was! Yippeee!

I had a fab day, managed to catch up on my 'Scrap Your Day' journal and I did 7 pages for 'JYC' (Journal Your Christmas) So I still have to do 3 more pages to get upto date.

We had a good laugh, from two certain ladies talking about chocolate things from Ann Summers, to Susy doing the Macarana, and everyone singing to the sound of music! Definately mad aren't we?!

Unfortunately our poor leader, Kirsty had to go home as she was quite poorly, I hope you are feeling better soon Doo xx

I also managed to upset Janee and Marie because they popped in and wanted Chloe cuddles, and she wasn't there! Ooops! Sorry girls!

I came home with a pot of Hazel's husband's chilli which we had for tea and was absolutely gorgous! Thankyou soo much Hazel (I love her doggy bags lol)

Daddy and Chloe had a good day too, so hopefully there will be many more Mummy Me Time Days!

Catch up!

It's been a busy week and I haven't had chance to keep up with my blog, Dave has been quite poorly and has been off sick all week, with cold and a chest infection, and this is the first time it's not man flu! Unfortunately Chloe has now caught it, I'm not quite sure how I have managed to avoid it so far! Very unlike me!

Monday 8th

We went to York today to visit Auntie Brenda which was really nice.


Tuesday 9th

Chloe had her check up at St James with the Paediatrician, he was very pleased with her progress. :o)

Wednesday 10th

Chloe and I went swimming to Rothwell with Melanie and Edwin, it was far better than Kippax as it has a proper baby pool which is lovely and warm.

I started my Christmas shopping! Yippee

We went to Samual Taylor's for my Secret Santa pressy for Saturday!

Thursday 11th

Baby massage and Mums 'n' Babes class, this was the last one! Boo hoo, I think we were all disappointed that we won't be getting the first aid class added onto the end, which we missed last week due to the snow! We all swapped numbers and hopefully will be meeting up again.

Me & Chloe went to Melanie and Edwins for lunch which was very nice :o) She makes lovely cakes & cookies!

Friday, 12th

Weigh in at Clinic, Chloe is now 13lb 10oz and is 62.5cm long! HV is really pleased with her.

Bargain!

Nana looked after Chloe today whilst me and Daddy went into Birmingham City Centre to do some shopping!

It was amazing to get out just of the two of us and we were also glad we didn't have the pram with us as it was manic!

We got a great present for Chloe, thanks to my pal Hazel, it was a reindeer rocking horse from Mamas and Papas, down from £70 to £25!!!

Also courtesy of Hazel, I finally got a new set of Knives from Debenhams, Sabatier knives, down from £100 to £54!!! Hope that will please my mum (she complains about our blunt knives when she comes down! They were £2.50 from Wilko's about 3 years ago!! lol) And it was the first time we spent some of our wedding voucher from work. We had been looking for bedding to spend it on, but we couldn't find what we wanted.
